KSL now offers environmental COVID testing solution with Thermo Scientific™ AerosolSense™ sampler

Updated: Dec 9, 2021

KSL is excited to announce the launch of a new tool to help fight the spread of COVID-19! Following rigorous testing by our own laboratories, we present the Thermo Scientific™ AerosolSense™ sampler, a new pathogen surveillance solution for quickly detecting the presence of airborne pathogens in indoor facilities of all sizes. Once detected, employees can quickly be tested for a virus, such as those that cause COVID-19, ensuring an outbreak stops before it even starts.

Simply place the small, lightweight device in the area to be monitored, load the testing cartridge, and after the monitoring time period, send them to KSL for the same fast, accurate results you trust. Our experts will consult with you on the best locations for devices based on the size of the space and number of persons. Plus, no need to hire a specialized testing crew: your staff can quickly and easily be trained to load and remove the testing cartridges. Rent the unit from us for short-term operation, or buy the system for ongoing monitoring of a variety of airborne pathogens to keep your employees safe for years to come. While it is currently designed specifically to test for SARS-CoV-2, Flu A/B and RSV-B, it can capture a wide variety of airborne pathogens.

With early detection and reliable test results, employers can confidently protect their communities, prevent costly shut downs, and save the lives of their most important asset: employees! AerosolSense is a great complement to individual testing, providing an overview of what's going on in the air around your workers. It can also provide airborne pathogen testing in locker rooms, lobbies, music, theatre, and sporting events, and more!

KSL Biomedical is delighted to be able to bring this new technology to Western New York and be a part of the fight to stop COVID-19. Contact us today to be connected with one of our amazing team members to see how we can fill your testing needs.
